The caster can now move while channeling, with 50% reduced movement speed.To make it more competitive for this slot again, we are increasing the damage output of Magic Shock, so it is more attractive to play as an unique damage & cc alternative.Īs a Quality-of-Life change, similar to other defensive Beams we are giving Protective Beam the ability to walk with a 50% movement speed penalty.

Since then Magic Shock was seeing less usage over time, because it is too much outshined by Chain Missile. The addition of Chain Missile allowed Arcane Staffs to be played like a traditional DPS.
